What tastes nutty?
What looks bigger than a sesame seed but smaller than a sunflower seed?
It’s a hemp heart. The inner shelled part of a hemp seed.
And they are yummy!
Hey folks, it is time to start thinking about New Year’s Resolutions.
Wanna start the New Year off feeling good?
Wanna feel great in 2008?
Take action….create new healthy habits.
One way to start is with hemp hearts!
Grown in Alberta, Canada from Rocky Mountain Grain Products–no website link at this time–let me know if you want more info.
According to the company, hemp hearts are the most concentrated source of essential nutrients known to humans.
Eating 4-5 Tablespoons a day with raw vegetables or fruit and yogurt, you will have lots of long lasting energy to get you through the day, minimal hunger til mid-afternoon, and you will be very regular if you know what I mean. Hemp hearts keep you satisfied, full of boundless energy, and the result is good health and weight loss!
Hemp hearts contain more amino acids (proteins) than milk, meat or eggs.
They are a complete protein source.
Contain 47% oil, 86′% which are the Omega 3, 6 and 9 oils.
Contain all the essential Omega fats required and many, many more times the Omega 3 than any fish.
Provide more energy than energy bars–without all the sugar!
People who are gluten-free and unable to eat nuts, milk and meat can eat hemp hearts.
Hemp hearts are awesome on hot cereal, cold cereal, salads, stir-frys, smoothies, in deserts and muffins, soups, and in chicken, fish and meat dishes. Hemp hearts are excellent in everything!
TAKE NOTE…regarding other hemp food products:
A word of caution is to not eat Hemp Protein and hemp flour because these products are made by grinding the wastes which remain after the valuable oil has been extracted from the whole hemp seeds and are mostly therefore, made up of shells which don’t digest at all.
Want a sample? Email the company or me. They are fabulous.
Feel Great in 2008!
More to come!

Would love a sample.

I’m trying to refer people to some suppliers but can’t really find any

Thanks! … Would love a sample and ordering information. I used hemps seeds (crushed) before leaving the US… I made the best tasting and digesting smoothies that I have ever tasted.
Here, in Australia, hemp seeds (crushed) seem unavailable … and orgainic hemp oil is hard to find and only available for cosmetic use.
Looking forward to hemp hearts… Thank You
Cheers,
Martine

I have been using the hemp hearts for a year now. I love them in my (raw) cereal an anywhere else I can put time. I did buy them on line as I am not near a retail source. I have recently moved and there is a health food store near me that may carry them. Can you send me the infomation on how to buy them wholesale and how to get the hemp heart bars.
Great product. Thank you.
